Creating an illustrated map of Paris has been a fulfilling artistic journey. Inspired by my visits to the city over the years, this map pays tribute to the city’s timeless charm, iconic landmarks, and vibrant atmosphere that captivated me from the start.

The project began with reflecting on the essence of Paris—its blend of history, elegance, and culture. Strolling along the Seine, exploring quaint neighbourhoods, and visiting famous sites like the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame, and the Arc de Triomphe shaped my creative vision. Each hand-drawn sketch was crafted to highlight the beauty and intricacy of the city’s architecture, from grand monuments to hidden corners.

After completing the initial drawings, I digitised them using graphic design software to refine the colours and details. This digital process allowed me to experiment with layout and composition, ensuring the map felt both visually engaging and true to the spirit of Paris. The result is a lively, detailed piece that captures the city’s iconic energy and romantic allure.

Working on this project brought back fond memories of my time in Paris, from sipping coffee in cozy cafes to walking through historic streets filled with life. Every landmark and element included in the map reflects a moment of discovery or inspiration.

This illustrated map is more than a representation of Paris—it’s a celebration of the experiences that made the city so memorable to me. Whether you’re a Paris enthusiast or looking to add a touch of elegance to your space, this piece offers a unique way to experience the charm of the City of Light.

I’m thrilled to share this artistic journey and invite you to explore Paris through my eyes, appreciating its stunning landmarks, rich history, and enduring magic.
